Mgr. Ivan Struhár, Ph.D.

Assistant professor at the Department of Health Promotion (Faculty of Sports Studies)

Ivan Struhár's research is primarily focused on the Athletes regeneration; Novel methods to measure V̇O2max, Critical Power and Anaerobic Work Capacity; Factors affecting self-paced endurance performance.

His courses provide during Summer School an excellent opportunity to connect the previous theoretical knowledge and practically oriented seminars with the actual sport practice in real conditions (Laboratory assessment of human performance, Basic techniques of sports massage).

Mgr. Dagmar Heiland Trávníková, Ph.D.

Assistant professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Sport Management (Faculty of Sports Studies)

 Inactive employment status

Dagmar Heiland Travnikova deals with physical activities mostly from the field of psychomotricity. She works with various specific groups (youth with hearing impairment or physical disabilities, seniors with Parkinson´s disease, etc.) and in her course at the Summer School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, she will enable the participants to understand the possibilities of using psychomotor activities and games for people with special needs.

Field of professional expertise: Human nutrition with focus on sports nutrition. Particularly interested in nutritional strategies enhancing exercise performance.

Mgr. Dagmar Moc Králová, Ph.D.

Assistant professor at the Department of Health Promotion (Faculty of Sports Studies)

"I play with the human body and I call it work. I am a perfectionist and I like working with details. Yes, yes, those are infinitesimals in our body, soul, life. Professionally these details are called physiological aspects of the musculoskeletal system. I will meet you with this aspects if you have no idea about them. In addition, I will show you a different view of the human body during the summer school program in Applied Kinesiotherapy as a prevention."

Field of professional expertise: Childhood obesity, Nutritional issues and special needs children, Athlete's nutrition needs.

Mgr. Tomáš Kalina, Ph.D.

Department of Athletics, Swimming and Outdoor Sports (part-time cooperation)

Field of professional expertise: Strength and conditioning training in individual and collective sports, as well as analysis of sports data and their evaluation.
